This sounds like a truly special place! A restaurant that transports its guests back to the medieval era with authentic meals and traditional serving methods is such a rare find. The idea of breaking apart a staple and using it to blanket the chosen dish is a unique and immersive touch. Lamb and steak tips being the most popular choices make sense—they’re hearty and rich in flavor. And it’s great to hear they cater to vegetarians with a variety of options. The atmosphere is—calm, beautifully decorated, and filled with multicultural imagery—adds to the experience, making it not just about the food but about storytelling and heritage. It really does sound like a journey without the need to travel thousands of miles. Once you left the place the experiance stay with you indefinitly. Dont forget to say "Dehna Ederu" Have good night, Lunch time say "Dehena Walu" Have Good Day!

Delicious, very flavorful Ethiopian food. Had the Vegetarian Combo and the Ethiopian Combo- see both combined in the attached photo. Food was enough for 2 adults and 2 teens. Service was prompt, waitress very nice. Good prices as well. Would definitely go back.

Great value and delicious food! We ordered a couple of vegetarian sambusas (they were out of non-vegetarian) and an Ethiopian Combo for two. Even though we loved it, our party of two adults and two kids around 10 years old couldn't finish off the abundance of food, so we took leftovers home to enjoy later. Service was friendly and very helpful in helping us figure out what to order given the kids' relatively low tolerance for spicy. I was hoping for more of a variety of Ethiopian beers, as listed on their menu online, but I was pleasantly surprised by and enjoyed my Castel Lager. We would have liked to stay for dessert, but we were stuffed.

First time getting Ethiopian food. So good! The honey wine (tej) was extremely good and very sweet. And the food quality was amazing. The spices were extremely flavorful. Not too spicy(hot). The bread was almost pancake like. Would go back again.
